  • What is the application process like? 

    Applications can be completed and submitted online.  

  • Do you require credit/background checks? 

    Yes.

  • What move-in costs are there?

    No broker fee. Security deposit required based on credit score.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Ridgecrest Village is cat-friendly.  

  • Are there any rules regarding service animals or emotional support animals? 

    Service animals and ESAs are permitted.

  • What type of apartments are available?

    Ridgecrest Apartments in West Roxbury features studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. 

  • How big are the apartments?

    Studios range from 356-406 square feet. One-bedroom apartments are 683-860 sq ft. Two-bedroom units range from 863-1093 sq ft. 

  • Are there hardwood floors, carpet, or tile? 

    The majority of apartments are carpeted. Laminate wood flooring is available in some apartments. 

  • Do units come with in-unit laundry? 

    Some apartments include in-unit laundry, depending on style. Shared laundry areas are available for other apartments and buildings.  

  • Are there balconies? 

    There are balconies on select apartments.  

  • Do you offer furnished apartments? 

    We do not offer furnished apartments.  

  • What appliances are included?

    All apartments include a refrigerator and stove. A microwave and dishwasher are available in select apartments. 

  • Is there central air conditioning?

    Central air is available in select apartments.

Utilities & Costs

  • What utilities are included in the rent? 

    Heat and hot water are included in rent. 

  • What is the average cost of utilities not included? 

    Depends on usage for each apartment.

  • What cable or internet provider is available?

    Comcast Xfinity and Astound

Residents

  • How close are the apartments to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores? 

    All are within a short drive. 

  • Are there community events or resident programs? 

    Ridgecrest Village hosts resident events throughout the year. 

  • Is there storage available for rent? 

    Storage is available. Call for pricing and availability. 

  • Is there 24-hour maintenance service? 

    Yes.

General

  • What amenities are available? 

    Ridgecrest Village includes two fitness centers, a swimming pool and EV charging stations.

  • Is on-site parking available? Is it included or rented separately?

    Onsite parking is available at an extra fee.

  • What is your guest parking policy? 

    Guest parking is available. A visitor parking tag must be obtained from the office. 

  • How close is public transportation? 

    An MBTA bus line is close by. 

  • What schools are in the area? 

    Ridgecrest Village is served by the Boston Pulic School System. The Beethoven Elementary School is within walking distance.
